How do we use the Creative-Tonie?

Creative-Tonies are cute, colourful and robust (just like regular Tonies) but there’s a difference – Creative-Tonies are blank with 90 minutes of space for you to record all of your favourite tales and tunes. Just upload your existing audio files or record your very own stories, songs or messages. Thank you trndster Paddington18 for this great Instagram video!

Here’s how:

• Simply head to the App or Google Play Store and search ‘Tonies’.

• Download the App and choose which creative Tonie to send your message to.

• Record bedtime stories or goodnight messages that children can listen to, wherever they are.

• You can also add other content to your Creative-Tonie, like existing songs and stories that your little one loves.

The beauty of Creative-Tonies is, you can record and re-record messages as often as you like. So, if mum or dad is working away on business, they can leave a new message and a different story every evening.

Let's not forget we need every one of you creative trndsters to complete all of the tasks for the project to be a success. Head to your home area where you'll find the tools to complete the tasks!

My daughter has been playing with it constantly. She absolutely loves it. I am definitely buying some more tonies for her to play with.

My daughter shows it to her friends and plays her favourite music on creative Red.. I love it 😍 too, because she is so busy with the box. Also put the stickers on.

I recorded myself saying calculations and my 5 year old says the answers. He has also recorded himself singing nursery rhymes for his brother.

We recorded something and put a few songs on it. We also heard the free story about nobody and nothing you could download. The creative tonie is great! :)

My son loves making recordings of his sums.. he loves maths, so this is going to be a bonus when he has to start learning his times tables! He enjoys Tonie and fun learning works with him.

We uploaded my son's made up and very creative story!... the creative Tonie is definitely the favourite! They also enjoyed the free nobody story 😊

Myself and her dad have recorded a few stories where we each put on different voices for each character in the story, I don't know who's having more fun, us or her.

We have had a busy week so far with out new favourite, loved hearing the Zog story and it's been played a few times already. It's so easy to use too.

We all love tonie box! My 2year old absolutely adores changing tonies 😊and my 4year old finally falls asleep listening to Gruffalo story when mummy has time for herself! Absolutely brilliant and we love the design...

We have saved our birthday tonie for our daughter's birthday this weekend and we can't wait to see her discovering her new birthday figure and listening to the new content. So far the kids have all recorded a story of their choice and they take it in turns to listen to them :)

We enjoyed setting up the Toniebox together as a family, quick and simple. My children wake up excited to use the Toniebox with the Tonies. They have been using it on a daily basis. The design sits nicely in our living room and it's great that the box is made from soft fabric, a good sensory for the children, they love it! We look forward to using it and investing in more creative Tonies!

This is such a superb attribute to any growing young family. Removing the attraction of screens allows the children to really engage with speach.

My husband dealt with it when we were listening favourite children's songs! We all really enjoy a whole set. Dad can play with some settings and upload stories while I can just play with our little!

We had been away for a few days and came home to find our Toniebox had arrived. My two, aged 3 and 11, have loved being involved in setting it up and finding out what it can do. Florence, 3, hasn’t stopped playing with it since we got home. At bath time we had it in the bathroom for the Songs and she has insisted on taking it to bed with her for The Gruffalo story. Tomorrow we intend to explore it further by recording our own material and exploring the app. So far thought we are loving it, thank you 😊

My husband and mum have both recorded some lovely bedtime stories for my daughter to listen to before she falls asleep when they’re not around! It’s so precious that she gets to hear their voice despite them not being here as my husband sometimes works away and mum mum unfortunately doesn’t live near us. Such a great device ☺️

We are so happy to have toniebox with us. We have literally shut down iPads and to be honest my children don't even ask about it. They are enjoying toniebox so much. They listen to stories and songs. We also installed some of their favourite songs as well. The best thing I liked about Tonnies is that your child doesn't get too much involved and engrossed, he/she knows what's going on as compared to the time when they had iPad.

I’m away travelling with work at the moment but before I left, I recorded some stories for my daughter so she can listen to them before bed as well as a couple of lullabies that she likes..
My daughter loves her Toniebox, and enjoys listening to her personalised stuff as well as the Tonies that came with it - great idea.

We are going to have our boy's older Cousins, Aunts and Uncles (based in New Zealand) record their favourite nursery rhymes stories which Leo can then listen to at his leisure - a great way to share stories / songs they love even though we are so far apart. Thinking out loud, would it make sense for there to be the ability to share a private link we can share with distant family and friends who can then record which we can then add via the app?

We have not recorded anything yet as our little one was busy dancing and humming to the tunes of the Bedtime Songs and Lullabies :)
The plan is to upload some of her favourite nursery rhymes now and when I'll be away on a business trip next month, I will use the App on my phone to record a new message every night for her to listen before she goes to bed.

We are off on a long roadtrip this afternoon our toniebox will be coming with us to keep three little ones occupied for at least some of the trip and the good thing about it is the noise doesn't bother me like some of their other toys so I don't mind turning the radio down to listen as a family :)

We all absolutely love our new tonie box. I have uploaded two of my sons favourite stories and he enjoys listening to the box whilst reading the actual book. We will definitely be buying more tonies. Think the Stick Man will be next!!!

We uploaded the boys' favourite cd and they spend even more time dancing and singing now. Bonus is the cd doesn't get scratched and they can't turn it up to stupidly high volume. Happiness for all.

I love the idea of having a creative tonie which is so versatile. Although I haven’t uploaded anything yet onto it I cant wait to put my children’s favourite stories and songs onto it.

I have recorded bedtime stories (in my voice) in the creative tonie and what a respite it is for us after hectic office days: my son is nowadays sleeping with his toniebox listening to stories in my voice. Looking at this amazing change: 2 of our friends has also ordered toniebox for their kids.

We keep enjoying the Toniebox with the same excitement as the first day. We have downloaded content to the Creative Tonie, purchased Stick Man! And Toniebox is a great companion for long trips. I have certainly enjoyed participating in the project and spreading the word, the kids in the toddler groups and nursery loved it! Many thanks trnd!

I have uploaded it with some of my girls favourite pop music and also we have downloaded the app so we can record them messages if we are away with work! Super cute and fun!

Both my daughters who are 8 and 2 absolutely love it, it goes everywhere with them, we will be purchasing more Toonies, my 2 year old knows how to work it, we think it's fantastic, it will be going on holiday with us as well
