The Toniebox setup

The Toniebox is super easy to set up, so in case you haven't yet got around to setting up the Toniebox here is a simple guide with a few links to help you along the way.

You will need to set up the Toniebox to your WiFi and set up a Toniecloud account.

Before you start the setup process you will need:

WiFi access and your WiFi log in details
The Toniebox and your charging station (which should be plugged in)

We found the 'Set up a Toniebox with Sven' tutorial video very helpful.

Go to 'Toniebox set up' page and follow the step by step process:

I made the mistake of setting up with creative tonie on top. Don't do this or it won't work after. Had to reset and do again without anything on top. Works fine now!

Hi, I've still not received my Toniebox yet. I've tried to track it, however it is showing up as incomplete today :-(

I was a little worried about setting up the Toniebox at first. But I Can’t believe I was able to set this up myself , so easy to do !!

I struggled as it wouldn’t accept my WiFi password a couple of times and then I’d already gone back to the start a third time when the box lit up. I tried adding the creative Tonie but it wasn’t happy. I had to look up the code word ‘squirrel ‘
Not even sure how I fixed this in the end but it’s working now. I consider myself quite tech savvy which probably helped tbh. It’s a shame we need to go through this when all the kids want to do is rip the box open and play but I understand the need for it.

I did it myself but it took a while as it kept saying the password was wrong. Finally got it working when there was no one else using the WiFi which I think helped.

Very easy to set it up and to upload content to the Creative-Tonie.

We had an inpatient 5 year old who couldn't understand why it wasn't working "straight out he box". After 10 mins of following the instruction, we had it connected to the Wifi and listening to audio :)

We had a teeny tiny issue but I think that was due to both her father & I being a little stupid with technology, but it's all up & running and she loves it.

Set up my toniebox today, no issues at all. Very quick and easy, the kids didn't get bored waiting either. Had to track down my parcel which was with a neighbour, hence the delay in getting it up and running.

I managed mine by myself, it wasn't quite as easy as I hoped but still managed it. my advice would be to make it idiot proof because it's not as easy as it should be

I got there on my own in the end. I tried a couple of times and when I decided to give it a break it came to life :) It was saying it was not connecting to the wifi, but then suddenly worked perfectly.

It was pretty easy and rewarding to set up. I am yet to find out some of the functionalities but already enjoying it and I can see it will be a useful toy.

As everyone else seems to be saying, it was easy enough to get set up. I’m not tech savvy at all but still managed it alone 🤣

I found the Tonie box pretty easy to set up, simple instructions to follow, took a couple of times to get fully connected but all going well since set up :)

I found the set up process straight forward and hassle-free! My Tonie connected straight away to the WiFi and both Tonie characters started to play instantly! I was able to record my own too with no problems 👍

Very easy to set up! Had to do it twice but I bet it's just because I mistyped our Wifi password :D

It was really easy to set up and loved the little welcome message from our Tonie. We had a 'Groundhog' issue when we went to play Zog for the first time, but followed the instructions on and the magical tonie folks solved it for us.

I've still not been able to set ours up. I've tried from my smartphone and computer. All is going well until I try to connect to the wifi, I can find my toniebox connection but after that the next page never loads. I've tried clicking on the manual page but this didn't load either - I never get to the part where you put in your password.
Anyone else had this problem or know what we're doing wrong? We've got other devices connected to the wifi so know it works.
The support pages take me either to unsupported videos or German answers! My little boy is so disappointed at the moment as he's desperate to use it

I was skeptical it really would be easy to set up but it was. Even when we had an issue with one tonie it was easy to reset it and get it sorted.

Nothing like having impatient children wanting to use a toy and you not knowing how to set it up. Luckily the set up was easy and quick, which I liked.
