Over the next few days, we’d love you to take part in a simple, high-impact “frizz stress test”. You don’t have to copy it frame for frame, use it as inspiration for your own version.

The viral idea we’re jumping on

The trend is essentially about creating frizz on purpose, then fixing it in real time.

Here’s a gorge example

There are 10 x £50 Amazon gift cards to be won*

Your shares could help get Aussie Frizz Off into the hands of fellow frizz victims who need it most but not only that, you could also win one of 10 x £50 Amazon vouchers*. Remember, to be in the running to win, you’ll need to upload your posts via your dashboard. We can’t wait to see your sleek shine!

Let’s talk steps:

  1. Show the problem

Start with dry, styled hair that already has a bit of frizz.

  2. Make it worse before you make it better

This is the bit people are loving. You might lightly mist your hair with water, step outside into the drizzle, or fluff your roots to exaggerate frizz. Show texture, puffiness, and flyaways up close.

  3. Apply Aussie Frizz Off (properly)

Take a macadamia nut-sized dollop. Warm it between your hands, then smooth it through your lengths and ends. Don’t overload, a little goes a long way.

  4. Show the transformation in real time

Scrunch gently, let the product settle, and film close-ups of the strands becoming smoother, shinier and more defined. This is where the magic happens.

  5. Reveal the result

Finish with a clear “after” shot: soft, controlled, frizz-free locks that still look natural and bouncy. Then end with an invitation like: “You have to try this.”

Why does this work so well? Viewers can see the difference with their own eyes, which is far more powerful than any caption.
