Our Raindance-inspired dream bathrooms

The Hansgrohe Raindance Select E 120 seems to have slotted seamlessly into so many trndsters' bathrooms, and we've got the evidence to prove it!

Our photo gallery is packed to the rafters of fab photos from our project members, all of whom have been proudly displaying their new shower head.

This got us thinking: What else could we do to our bathrooms to really turn them into a haven for relaxing, switching off and enjoying a lovely shower? Candles... music... incense sticks...

To start with the shower itself has to be welcoming, somewhere you want to spend time using for longer than normal. The E120 ticks those boxes for me. Then it's about cosmetics, a big chrome radiator so you can wrap yourself in warm fluffy towels and a comfy dressing gown. The shower gel and shampoo should be a calming smell so you can relax after a long day and the bath mats should be deep and soft when you step on them.

got to say the shower head off course and my water speaker to listern to my favourite tunes and to have it on rain air setting and to have an amazing pressure shower to get the full force of the hansgrohe e 120 and while singing to your favourite music a glass of red wine

When I remodelled my last bathroom, I had the following
1) walk in shower (i.e. no door) with ceiling rose and hand shower head for feet, cleaning shower etc.
2) Shower controls as you walk into the shower, this ensures that the temp is correct before getting in.
3) heated floor
4) mirrors with demister pads
5) auto lighting on two zones. so in the evening or first thing in the morning depending on light levels, the main lights came on. In the dead of night, a dim strip of lights under the counter come on. This ensures that if you get up in the middle of the night, you don't have blinding lights.
6) Ceiling speakers with wall control linked into the rest of the house. So hi fi quality sound.
7) Wall mounted toilet with concealed cistern for ease of cleaning and looks.

It was sad to leave, but I know what to put into the next one and will enjoy reading others comments for more ideas. :)

i am going to add a few more accessories to my bathroom and choose a different colour scheme like salmon pink to blend in with my fabulous hahsgrohe rain dance making it more tranquil plus some new down lights for a santuray of peace and relaxation

A power shower is an absolute must. I'd also like a bathroom with underfloor heating, welcoming lighting and tiling that looks great and is easy to clean. I need plenty of storage for towels and toiletries. My partner would also insist on a bluetooth speaker so he can listen to his huge catalogue of music in the shower. Plenty of floor space would also be great.

The E 120 looks attractive, so bold and strong yet classic. We have it in our en suite, so its not a big space, and even though the shower head is large it doesn't look out of place.
The fact that you can choose your water setting so easily really makes for a relaxing experience, so a morning washing is now my chill time, Radio on, rain air shower experience and I'm ready for my day ahead!

Not sure how "bevsuperkev" will manage a glass of wine in the shower lol. My idea of a heavenly bathroom is subtle colours, fluffy towels, soft music, relaxing candles and of course a fabulous shower.

where to start, underfloor heating, a big walk in shower with a raindance shower head wouldn't give up my raindance, I love the choice of sprays at the touch of a button, I must have fluffy towels and candles, ambient lighting and some storage for those towels and toiletries just hand me a large glass of red wine and I'm in heaven

I like to keep showering simple. However I like my bathroom to make me feel special and to make me feel relaxed after a busy day. My bathroom has a walk in shower which gives lots of space to move around and enjoy a great shower experience. The tiles in the bathroom are also important, I have mosaic tiles in the shower a mixture of grey and light brown and grey bigger tiles on the floor and walls with grayish vines. The light is important the bathroom is well lit and also has assorted furniture like the brown cupboard under the sink. The toilet and the sink are also new, the sink is large and there is also plenty of room in the cupboard underneath as well as on the wide edges of the sink; however I would rather keep these empty and have a shelve made of glass on top of the sink for additional toiletries. A good size mirror with a frame made of mosaic adorns the wall above the sink. I would not have a glass of wine in the shower, or candles, these are more suitable when taking a bath. I would rather have a relaxing experience, a warm, nice shower with some massage and relaxation, which is now possible thanks to Hansgrohe Raindance E120 shower head.This was the only great element missing in my bathroom. After the shower I would definitely enjoy a glass of wine.

subo and danny its easy , i have glass shelves on one side of my shower and i stand my glass on the side my water speaker sucks to the other side i have so much fun using such an amazing shower head

Nice big shower cubicle; Controls you can operate without getting the first blast of cold water, A Hansgrohe Raindance E120 of course; Nice and clean; Well lit, preferably LED; Nice face mirror; Somewhere for towels to dry; Storage for the essentials.

That's a brilliant idea bevsuperkev I'm off to buy a little wine shelf for my shower then along with my super duper Radiance shower my bathroom would be complete.

The Hansgrohe shower head has almost completed my idea bathroom how I managed with my old shower head I will never no. All that's missing is a heated towel rail and my bathroom would be complete.

The Hansgrohe shower head has really complemented our freshly redesigned bathroom. In summer we put in white wall tiles to the ceiling and also grey large floor tiles. We had carpets previously which we hated as it is so unhygienic.
The shower head looks modern and sleek and is a perfect fit in the room

My ideal bathroom would be in a wet room style with a raindance shower head too. I love to be refreshed in a shower, so the colours would stay the same as they are in our present shower room, bright white and black tiling (although I'm starting to like earthy colours too now, like slate grey) and chrome/brushed fixings. Shower head somewhere adjustable, so you don't turn it on and have to get under it t the same time (cold...!) and I'd love a heated floor in there.
Loads of fluffy towels, nice scents and that'd be my lot. Thanks for having my shower pic up there!

I sometimes like calming music when I shower.. I love smells too... I use different shower creams to make it smell like heaven when i bath :)

My ideas about the ultimate relaxation zone aided by the Raindance Select E 120 shower should include a spacious walking shower room with glass walls around, ambivalent not bright wall mounted lighting changing the colours with the tune of music coming from the waterproof Bluetooth speakers, waterproof flat screen TV on the wall, spa bath with Jacuzzi next to the walking shower, marble walls of the bathroom and sleek stylish sink. On one of the walls massive wall size mirror. The 3D floor with coral reef and tropical fish theme.

As I suffer from OA and Chronic pain syndrome, I would love a walk in shower in a wet room. With a wall mounted toilet, and large drainage in the floor ,so the whole bathroom could be hosed down for easy cleaning. A lovely shower seat and soft lighting.I'd also love whale song piped in with tropical fish in a wall mounted aquarium! And a body dryer ( like the hand dryer ,just bigger, a bit like a standing tan bed.) for after my shower.

One of my friends has asked me where to get this shower from, As she like what I put about it on Facebook, I told her she could get one from Amazon and I think she is going to purchase one from them

With a new bathroom this summer this was the ultimate finishing touch. I had never heard of this company but their products are stunning, elegant and effective. Add some sanctuary products and a white company candle and you have the pampering of a boutique hotel with the convenience and comfort of being at home. A wonderful project. Many thanks.
