I'm not going to post a review publicly, but I will post the feedback here: the game itself is a very good adaptation of the board game and functions well and quickly in both single- and multiplayer once you get into a game, but it is creaking badly with age compared to other video games full stop, tabletop-alikes and even considering only tabletop adaptations as a whole - the UI is very aged and both looks and acts poorly as a video game in 2021, and the matchmaking/friends system is convoluted: these are likely to be dealbreakers for many players - you have to look past this a lot if you are a seasoned gamer, and most people will be unlikely to do that to get to what is a very enjoyable experience.

I say that as someone who has bought every piece of DLC there is available; I love the game and I think it is worth playing - but the barriers this game has are not in its reach or its content, but in this specific implementation.

I streamed this with my pal the other night whilst we recorded a podcast and it was a very good fit as a sedate background. This might be a demographic to consider targeting further.

I can't work out how to do a review and generally that the problem with steam . it isn't intuitive at all! I played solo and with friends but I am not interested in playing with strangers online. It is annoying that you can only play with friends that have the game ( if it were a traditional model, you could play with anyone) the share is only within your own house! I enjoyed it but it gets pricey to add new boards.

Sorry, looked all over the site and can not figure out how to leave a comment on the steam page.
Love the digital version of TTR. I can play 24/7. Neat to play with ppl from all aver the world. Games are quick as no set up or clean up. I had the game on my Kindle for years and just recently downloaded it to my PC. On my Kindle, love I can invite my friends and we can play turn based. Also can play in real time. And if all else fails, can play solo (great for when I am on a15-20 minute break and know I can pause it for later if I need to go)
Neg. point, though: I can not figure out how I can minimize it on my PC so I can check email, etc while I wait for the game to begin.

im posting my review here as i also cant find where to add a review. this is the problem with this game. i love the game, the competitiveness and could play for hours but if you try to do anything else you cannot find our way intuitively around the site. several tasks were to play against friends or family but they would all have to install the game and no matter how many different ways we tried wecould not play without paying for a new code which meant i couldnt complete certain tasks in the project. i dont think im a stupid person but i found anything besides playing the usa map was just complicated and unable to do. however this said i really loved the game itself and was really starting to get into my stride with the strategy.

Review posted. I would love to see updated challenges or more advanced ones - besides just getting a higher score. It would also be cool if you could connect the maps and play a world game with each separate map keeping it's own site specific rules. You would have the same amout of cars for each region and there would be a way to use cars from one region to another for some type of fee (extra cards, etc).
