Super easy but I had help at the party, we did wonder whether a nozzle maybe helpful for someone like me with lots & lots of fine hair. Loved the mixing container with lid, this reduced the smell which with other types/brands can be quite strong. The instructions were very easy to follow with great images.

The colour result was really good, with no streaks or patches of darker or lighter colour. It gave a natural looking result. The colouring process did take a little longer. The mixed dye didn't drip at all during application. The brush worked well at the roots but wasn't great for the rest of the hair. A bottle with applicator nozzle may have helped with applying colour to the ends. :)

i found it much easier to useing the bowl than a bottle you find you can get all the hair dye out of the bowl loved the gloves they actually fit

Very simple instructions and not a highly toxic smell unlike most hair colours! Really easy to apply with no mess atall...The conditioner that came with it did leave my hair really dry which was strange but after the next hair wash and conditioner it was lively and silky

I found the kit had everything that was needed and liked the addition of a mixing bowl as didnt have to look around to find a container to mix in first like with some hair dyes. Everything in one place and one handy kit made the whole process easier. The bottle didnt drip and the dye was easy to paint on using the brush provided and didnt drip while waiting for the colour to develop. The smell was less strong than with some hair dye too

Yes,I love the fact that there wasn't a strong ammonia stench ,unlike some other hair dyes

I found the kits so much easier to use them the shake bottle method, the brush gave you a better and more even coverage, and it was easier to see the contents in the bowl so you knew how much you had left to use, and didn't run out,

I would though like to see likes out expecially designed for longer hair, both me and my daughter have long thick hair, and even though we used one kit and there was enough, I would have much preferred a little more mixture, for longer hair, then buying a second complete kit,

But must say, this was a very good and easy to follow instruction kit!

The kit was great looked really professional I was just slightly upset that after a week of the hair colour been put on my grey started to show through.

Really easy to use but not sure about the mixing bowl, it's a little too shallow for my liking....

After 2 and a half weeks the intense violet has faded to a more auburn colour but looks okay.

What colour was your hair before applying VS Salonist?

In order to get the desired hair colour you should always consider your current colour, and your tone.

It’s generally possible to change your hair colour up to one to three shades lighter or darker than your starting colour.

This felt so professional, much better applying with a brush than from a bottle. My hair felt so good after colouring not to mention the colour. Recommended to all my friends so far.

I thought the kit was brilliant, it looked professional and the box itself was very eye-catching! I have never dyed my hair at home before but I had seen other people bring home a box of hair dye and I have to say that there was no where near the stuff in them that the saloonist had in its box, very impressed with the contents, very easy to use and fantastic colour.

I loved the kit really good quality strong and sturdy unlike many others.
I found that I could not do my roots alone with the brush so needed help

I'm just curious to know if VS sell a touch up root colouring kit for the older ladies who have to dye their hair weekly/fortnightly?x

I loved the kit. The gloves were really great quality as I usually find that the gloves provided with most hair dyes split either because they are so small or just to thin. These were lovely and thick in fact I have kept them. The dish and brush were a bonus but I think the price does make up for these. The instructions were easy to follow and it was not so messy as some dyes to apply. I have shoulder length thick hair and found there was only just enough hair dye to cover my hair. My friend did manage to get some of the dye on my skin but it came off very quickly with some shampoo on a wet cotton ball. The conditioner smelt lovely and rinsed out very quickly.
