First impressions

Happy International Women’s Day ladies! Most of you have already received your intimawaer by Bodyform™ starter-kit, so it’s time to jump in and test the waters! You might not be ready to fully put them to the test yet, but you can share your first style and comfort impressions.

Some of you have already jumped into your new period pants and modelled your style, but we totally understand that it can be tricky to come up with ways to show off your underwear! We hope, that with these tips, we can help you create the best shots possible, and you can confidently spread the word about intimawear by Bodyform™.

The basics

First and foremost, set your scene! Declutter for a shot that focuses on the pants. Hide all other products and non-essential items, and use natural lighting if possible.
Create a stylish flat lay

Find a clean surface. Light it to avoid any shadows. Lay out and arrange your pants, packaging box, and the project handbook on said surface. Simples!
The unbuttoning effect

Be cheeky, be a tease…unbutton your jeans! You can still show off the colour and style you’re rocking, without getting undressed.

As you might have already noticed, intimawear by Bodyform™ looks just like regular underwear. Take a shot of your period pants along with your other briefs, and let your followers guess which one is which.

amazing no more using my old knickers for the time of the month and feeling uncomfortable no l can feel comfortable with theses period pants they are so easy to wear they have the same absorbency as a normal pad they are machine washable which is brill they are just a dream come true l feel so comfortable well worth 5 stars

I was so surprised by how normal the pants looked and felt, I'm not sure what I expected but I thought they would be different to regular knickers. I'm looking forward to wearing them when my period comes to see how comfortable they are.

I was very surprised at just how much like normal underwear these looked !
Tried them on - they are super comfy too !
Strangely looking forward to my period now to see how absorbent they are 😁

so far I'm loving my period pants, they fit so lovely and feel just like normal ones.. I would really like to see these in a multi-pack where you could save a bit of money buying more as we would need 3 to 7 pairs while we are on our periods. so happy to have been able to try these out!

I tried them on and I have my reservations on how thick the absorbent pad is, compared to other brands, but I'm looking forward to see how it performs when it's time to shine :D

So excited to try it for my next cycle can’t Wait. They look so comfortable and soft. Definitely made with soft silky fabric. Tried them on to see how it looks and if fit my body, but it exceeded my expectations fit perfectly and felt so relax and comfortable.

I love these pants, it is such a really great idea for those who invent them. I did not know that they existed until I was chosen to try them. They are so comfortable and soft, with a silky fabric. It fits me well and it exceeds my expectation. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family as it is a MUST.

I wear knickers from M&S that look like these so know I like the style but to know that I can wear these ones when having my period is awesome.
They fit right in with my other underwear so no one would know any different. (Not that anyone goes through my underwear drawer lol).
They feel so soft and im very excited to try them

These are surprisingly soft and not thick as I’d had presumed. They also just looked like regular underwear. Really nice fit, so far all positive!

First impressions are that they are very comfy and reassuringly thick without feeling like a nappy! My last period pants weren't as thick as these and leaked last month so hoping for good things. My only concern is that the padding doesnt go very far up the back so would be no good for bedtime

First impressions look like they’re a lovely material and look so comfortable! Can’t wait to try them for my next cycle, the padding doesn’t go up all the way so maybe concerned about leaking in bed

How soft to touch are these?! As soon as my delivery came, I immediately opened them up and had a feel and a stretch!

I think for the first time EVER I actually looked forward to my period so I could try these out, and they didn't disappoint. Such a comfortable sleep with the satisfaction of no leaking worries.

They have washed up great too!

I’ve just had my first wear and wash. Very comfortable fit and slept well in them over night, for bigger pants I’m not sure too! Loved the cute little lace detail and the silky feel. They washed really well too ready for round two!! Haha

Upon opening the box, really surprised at the quality of these pants. Not what I was expecting at all! Still waiting for my period to try them but I do have a couple of first thoughts, hesitations (let's say i would be picking a day where I wouldn't be going anywhere to try them!) and observations:

1. Whilst the sizing generally seems fine, the pad doesn't go up each way in the gusset I don't think
Unsure if there are different options in that regard when buying them. I'm 6ft tall, bigger in hip department these days (have had 2 children) and now have much heavier periods, so I usually buy longer more absorbent pads with wings to stop any leakages (sometimes use long night ones during the day too)...not sure these will fully protect me from leaks on the heaviest days at all (small pad, no wings) but will see! Same thoughts apply for night time scenarios.

2. The idea is for them to be worn for a full day so have some trepidation about leaks and odours...pad seems thick but...come on girls we know what time of the months are like and how gross we can feel even with regular changing of disposable products....

3. Chucking these in the wash with normal laundry....my other household members might feel a bit iffy about that and my husband voiced this upon showing him them! If they came across them by accident (even if they would have to go straight in the machine) he would be by his own words, freaking out. Are we saying we need to do a load of laundry every day To stop them festering? Otherwise, my earlier comment above about odours May be an issue ... a few days worth of these in the machine waiting for a full load to accumulate may not be very pleasant.

4. Having looked on the website they are £25 a pair. As they're reusable they seem affordable on the face of it. But I am also assuming most women would need at least a few days worth (periods between 3 and 7 days ish average, and most people won't want to be putting loads of laundry on daily whilst they're on their period to recycle the same pair) so this actually becomes extremely expensive, even if just for the initial investment required. You'd also likely still needs pads or tampons for the days either side and night times... Expensive endeavour and you would hope the knickers stand up to the being worn and washed enough times so they don't become a false economy.

Make me a convert Bodyform!

They are super comfortable, feels like I am wearing regular panty. They have good absorbency and doesn't leak even on heavy flow. What I don't like is washing it, again and again, need to buy 2 3 more

I am so looking forward to try them as my period starts next week. Since my first ever period, I ALWAYS had pad rash and all sorts of inflammation down there. :-/

I am so hopefull!
The pants looks pretty! So much prettier than my " old granny period pants " I used up till now.
It fits perfectly, so silky and comfy wear, and I love the red colour.

Just more couple of days and my period is coming! So let's see if I will be comfortable and will last up to 8 hours!

I was so excited and couldn't wait for my period to come - for like the first time ever haha!

Pleasantly surprised by the pants; soft, silky and comfy material, shapes to my body perfectly, and not bulky either.

I love the coverage the pad part provides, going across the bum as well as high up the back.

I will be recommending and buying more pairs!

These pants are now the prettiest pair of pants I own. A lovely design. So soft! I can't wait to wear them and I am actually looking forward to my time of the month just because I get to give these a try. I was a little worried that size large would be too big but I'm a UK 12/14 and they look like they will be a perfect fit.

I love the comfort of the fabric on these,so smooth and silky! I was worried that they would be bulky and thick but honestly they look so much like regular underwear so you dont feel like you're wearing a nappy!

I had a delivery issue with mine but received them early this week. They feel so soft and lovely and my period has just come so want to take a decent photo before trying them out tomorrow.
