Let´s get this Yamaha Party started!

The starter kits are on the way. Let's download the "Yamaha MusicCast" app from Apple's AppStore or Google Play Store and explore the functions in the free demo.

Ready for the first soundcheck?
Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected on your home's wifi and:

In the room overview, tap the settings button (cog) on the top right corner, then "Add new device" and press the "Connect" button on the YAS-306 or WX-010 for 5 seconds.
Enter your wifi password in the MusicCast app when asked. Now choose a room name and the image of your preference for the YAS-306 or the WX-010.

Don't forget to take many photos while unpacking and share with us your first contact with the Yamaha MusicCast devices via the photo uploader.

Got mine this evening, am trying to set up the WX-010 and it's not connecting via wifi, have managed to connect and play music through Bluetooth but can't connect using the app. Any ideas?

Mine came too, love the sound quality of the MusicCast WX-010, it connected very easily to my WiFi. Can't wait to try the sound bar.

Excitedly unpacked and set up - surprised to see a cd-rom(?!) in the box, and a 24-page (!!!) Quick Set-Up Guide.......similar to couple of previous comments, sound bar appears to be great on bluetooth but keeps dropping off the wi-fi, and cannot work out how to create a surround sound set up with both soundbar and speaker in the same room. More options around "graphic equaliser" sound settings on remote would be nice too.....

just received ours and it looks amazing the children are excited to hear their movies with this amazing sound bar sent by trnd and yamaha will be excited to see what the family think over christmas...and the neighbours

@TheOne:

Give your WLAN a restart and follow the MusicCast app steps carefully in order to connect with the soundbar.

As you can read in the FAQ section, if the playback is interrupted then:
activate the following setting: "Stability Boost" under Settings >> Main Room >> Link Control. If this function is activated, you will get a bigger buffer and you can listen to your music without interruption.

I can’t leave my reviews for these speakers online as it says on Amazon that only reviews from verified purchases are allowed? What do I do about this? I am a little annoyed as I love both the speakers and wanted to leave a great review.

I have the same issues following the TRND instruction but amazon wont allow me to submite a review.

I love WX010, its small, compact, sturdy, slick finish with great sound quality and such ease to use, both WX and Sound bar!
